How does Hexawash work?
Hexawash is filled with small magnesium pellets, which when mixed with water, create hydrogen gas and magnesium hydroxide. This reaction results in an alkaline solution of around pH 10.5 in your washing machine. Negative hydroxide ions reduce the surface tension of the water, making it easier for dirt and oil to breakdown and be washed away. Magnesium cleans your clothes as well as any detergent, whilst being kind to our waterways and planet.

Why every household needs a Hexawash
Saves Money
Who doesn’t want to save money right now? Whether you’re a Mum, a student, a senior or a young professional, an upfront investment in a Hexawash will save you around $150 a year. That’s money you could be spending on something way more fun than detergent!
Easy to Pack
Going on holiday? Why not throw in the Hexawash? It’s light, easy to pack and fits into any suitcase.
Family Friendly
With no measuring or pouring involved, Hexawash can be used by every member of the family, young or old. Just point out the wash cycle and the ‘On’ button and voila, suddenly Mum isn’t the only one putting on the washing!
Great for Allergies
Hexawash is hypoallergenic, meaning it contains no nasties that cause itchy skin and allergic reactions. If you are looking for a laundry product that is gentle on your family’s skin, Hexawash is a great solution.
Hexawash is Made with Love
Hexawash is ethically handmade in the mountains of Chiang Mai, Thailand, by a local team of dedicated seamstresses. The colourful and individual Hexagonal shaped pouches are stitched together using fabric, leftover from SuperBee’s Wax Wrap production. No two Hexawash are the same so an order is like a lucky dip. After all, there really aren’t enough good surprises in life!
Dig into your Garden
When your Hexawash reaches the end of it’s life and no longer contains enough magnesium to clean your clothes properly, simply bury it in your garden. The organic cotton will biodegrade, while the magnesium fertilises the soil, helping your garden to flourish.
Top Tip
Soak really smelly gym gear, or badly soiled clothes with the Hexawash before washing in the machine. For stains, we recommend using your favourite eco-friendly/plastic free stain remover bar.
Mother Nature will Thank You
Did you know that many detergents contain oxygen-reducing substances that cause severe damage to fish and marine animals in our waterways? Hexawash offers a sustainable way to do your laundry.
