What is GOTS certified cotton, and why does it matter?
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified cotton is one of the highest standards for organic textiles worldwide. It ensures that cotton is grown without harmful pesticides, synthetic fertilisers or genetically modified organisms (GMOs), making it safer for both the environment and consumers. Unlike conventional cotton, which often relies on intensive chemical treatments, GOTS-certified cotton follows strict ecological and social criteria throughout the entire supply chain, from farming to final fabric production.
To receive GOTS certification, the cotton must contain at least 70% organic fibres, and every step of production — spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing — must comply with environmentally responsible processes. Harsh chemicals, toxic dyes and heavy metals are either prohibited or strictly regulated. The result is a fabric that is not only safer for human health but also reduces pollution, preserves soil health and minimises water contamination.

How do I order the length I need?
The product is sold by the meter. Set the quantity on the product page to the number of meters you want and add it to the cart.
What colour is it?
Unbleached — the natural off-white of the cotton itself, with no dyes or optical brighteners. It takes dye well if you want to colour it yourself.
How wide is the roll?
50 inches, which is 127 cm, selvedge to selvedge.
Where does it ship from, and what does delivery cost?
From our workshop in Thailand, tracked. Rates and delivery times by region are on the delivery page; orders over the free-shipping threshold ship free. Outside Thailand, import duties or VAT may be applied by your local customs office.
