As 2024 comes to an end, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what has been a remarkable year of social and environmental impact for SuperBee. This year brought growth, challenges, and meaningful milestones that reaffirm our mission to create a greener world.
A Year of Giving Back: Supporting Local Communities
We are proud to have donated more than $5500 to local animal care foundations run by amazing hands-on founders who we know personally. If you’re looking to make a difference, we encourage you to look locally, identify the deficits in your community, and donate directly to smaller organizations where your contributions can make a profound impact.
Product Innovation with Purpose: Eco-Friendly and Sustainable Solutions
Kitchen Loofahs: Reducing Waste While Empowering Communities
This year, we donated equipment and increased the monthly production of our Kitchen Loofah, a product we are deeply passionate about. These loofahs make washing up fun while addressing serious environmental concerns.
Traditional sponges are highly toxic and take thousands of years to biodegrade, whereas our Kitchen Loofahs are made using upcycled scraps from our beeswax wrap production and local loofah gourd which grows easily in the region, creating a near-zero carbon footprint.
Beyond their eco-friendly benefits, they are handmade by women in need near the border refugee camps, in partnership with the One Sky Foundation. Supporting this product means supporting communities affected by the ongoing civil war. Every scrubber makes a difference!
More inspired designs that reflect the nature we protect
We also released new designs for our wax wraps, Hexawash, and paperless towels, featuring retro and ocean-inspired patterns to emphasize our mission of saving our life-giving oceans and water resources.
Hexawash: A Revolution in Sustainable Laundry
The Hexawash gained even more recognition this year. This innovative product eliminates the need for plastic bottles and toxic chemicals in laundry detergents, reducing pollution in water systems. We introduced a new Seafloor design for HexaWash, and in 2025, we aim to bring it to mainstream supermarkets worldwide, making sustainable laundry solutions more accessible.

On top of our B Corp Certification, we now have:
SE Thailand – Social Enterprise Thailand Certification, opening opportunities for funding and partnerships.
Halal Certification, allowing us to expand into local and Middle Eastern markets.
Global Expansion with Brand Partners
Another big highlight was establishing brand partners in Europe and Australia allowing for regional representation and sustainble international growth!
Our First Permanent Store at Chiang Mai International Airport
December 1 marked the opening of our first permanent store at Chiang Mai International Airport.
We’re thrilled to connect with travelers and help them travel cleaner and grener, and share our vision for reducing plastic waste globally.
Expanding Sustainability Education
This year the hive was buzzing with guests as we welcomed over 300 students, teachers, educators, and participants in sustainable business enthusiasts from 10+ countries to our workshop and eco-tour!
Together, we’re fostering awareness about eco-friendly practices and solutions.
Looking Ahead to 2025: Optimism for a Sustainable Future
While we noticed a slight decline in sales this year, we believe this reflects the lingering impact of the pandemic. People continue to rely heavily on delivery services, which usually come with single-use plastics. We hope to see a shift in 2025 toward cooking at home, eating together, and embracing reusable and sustainable solutions.
The Future Belongs to the Optimist
As we step into 2025, we are inspired by this belief.
