Have fabric lying around? What about worn out sheets or clothing that you don’t know what to do with? Give that old fabric new life by turning them into reusable food wraps! Our special wax mixture (beeswax blended with just the right amount of tree resin and organic coconut oil) takes care of the tricky part when making DIY beeswax wraps – this secret blend has been tweaked, tried and tested to make wraps that last up to two years. The wax also comes with instructions for you to easily make your own wraps. This wax solution makes 6-10 beeswax wraps or around 1 square meter of beeswax wraps depending on thickness of cotton used, technique and size.

It’s also a fun DIY kids craft that can be easily made in under an hour!

1. First, set your iron to a low to medium setting

2. Place baking paper or re-usable silicon mat on the ironing board

3. Place fabric on to baking paper/silicon mat and sprinkle wax onto fabric – less is more

4. Place another baking paper/silicon mat on top of fabric and wax

5. Iron the top of the baking paper/silicon mat to melt wax all over the fabric (be careful not to allow the wax to ooze out of the baking paper/silicon mat as this will ruin your ironing board)

6. Using a basting brush, brush the wax over the edges to make a clean corner finish

7. Carefully lift the wax wrap off the baking paper/silicon mat and hang on string or hold it up for 30 seconds.

A little goes a long way!

Give me a cloth large enough and I could wax wrap the whole world! This bar is going to last a loooooong time!

Works but expensive

I followed the video instructions and had no problems at all. However by the time I pay for shipping this costs more than just buying the premade ones. I did appreciate being able to use my own fabric and choose my own sizes though! And the product is very good, just quite expensive.

DIY Beeswax Wrap Drops

Easy to use

Its a great DIY project. Abit pricey in regards to shipping but over its cheaper than buying the premade ones in the market. Though the blog said less is more but I realised that I needed to use slightly more to get the coverage, stickiness I needed to ensure the wrap will prevent any leakage. I highly recommend covering your ironing board with baking paper before starting. I feel the individual drops just gets the fuse out of grating bars and you can easily redo areas by adding a drop of the wax on desired area.

Really easy to use

Works really well. Bought these to redo my current sandwich wraps. Easy to use and gave a really good coverage. Need to redo again only because one got washed in hot water by accident.
