SuperBee x Think Pacific | Social Enterprise Impact in Thailand

At SuperBee, we believe that business can—and should—be a force for good. As a certified B Corp and social enterprise based in rural Northern Thailand, our mission goes beyond creating sustainable household products. We exist to empower women with fair wages, challenge plastic pollution, and inspire conscious consumption around the world.

This year, we had the privilege of partnering with Think Pacific and their Global Team Internship program in Chiang Mai. Together, we welcomed 70 talented students, plus Think Pacific’s staff, into our hive—and the collaboration has been nothing short of transformative.

Why This Partnership Matters

For organizations like ours, rooted in fair trade principles and women’s empowerment, global connections are invaluable. Being based in a rural area sometimes limits our access to international markets or specialized resources. Think Pacific bridged that gap by bringing bright, motivated students who were eager to learn, share, and contribute.

What We Achieved Together

The Think Pacific interns supported SuperBee in meaningful, practical ways:

🎥 Creating video and image content to help us share our impact story
📈 Auditing our website and social media accounts for fresh insights
🌍 Contributing to product development with new ideas and research
✍️ Building marketing materials to reach a global audience of conscious consumers

Their creativity and dedication not only strengthened our communications but also gave us long-term tools to expand our reach and amplify our mission.

A True Exchange of Learning

One of the most inspiring parts of this partnership was the mutual learning experience. While the students supported us with digital skills, marketing strategies, and innovative ideas, we shared with them the realities of running a sustainable social enterprise in rural Thailand.

They experienced firsthand what it means to:

Build a business on fair trade values
Create plastic-free products that fight waste and pollution
Provide dignified, flexible employment for women in local communities

We believe many of them left with a deeper understanding of social impact entrepreneurship—knowledge they’ll carry into their own careers and lives.

Tourism with Purpose

Thailand is known worldwide for its tourism industry, but programs like Think Pacific highlight a more meaningful approach. Instead of being passive visitors, students became part of our community, contributing to projects that have a lasting positive effect. This kind of purpose-driven travel creates authentic cultural exchange while supporting local businesses and communities.
